Vascular screening is a non-invasive assessment of peripheral arterial circulation, primarily utilizing the Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI). This procedure serves as a preliminary risk assessment to identify potential blockages associated with Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). Furthermore, it incorporates the Artery Stiffness Index (ASI) technology to evaluate arterial elasticity and assess overall atherosclerotic risk.
Vascular Screening Procedure

- The client provides their personal information and completes the registration process.
- The client is asked to lie comfortably on the examination bed. A trained staff member will then carefully place blood pressure cuffs on both arms and both ankles (four points in total).
- The client remains still and relaxed for approximately 10 minutes while the medical device performs the vascular screening.
- Once the assessment is complete, the staff member will gently remove all four cuffs.
- The client may transition from the bed and wait approximately 5 minutes for the preliminary report to be generated.
- A staff member will provide a detailed explanation of the screening indicators, offering personalized wellness recommendations and health maintenance advice based on the results.
Preliminary Preparation & Guidelines
Attire Recommendation
Please wear short-sleeved shirts or lightweight long-sleeved tops, along with comfortable, thin trousers. Overly thick or restrictive clothing may affect the accuracy of the screening indicators.
Jewelry and Accessories
All wrist accessories, including watches and bracelets, should be removed prior to the screening. Items that constrict the wrist area may result in inconsistent readings during the assessment.
*This vascular screening is intended for risk assessment purposes only and does not constitute a definitive medical diagnosis. Results should be reviewed by a qualified healthcare professional for further evaluation.
